I saw U2 many times back in the day, but it's been a while and these aren't the songs I remember. 9/15

I got 15 out of 15! I am a U2 super fan and have been since the early-'90s when Achtung Baby came out. "Mysterious Ways" was the very first single my Mom bought me as a Christmas gift and then she got me their album War a few months later for an Easter present. I still listen to them to this day.

I absolutely love all of their stuff! And they released their first album, Boy, the year that I was born - 1979. Plus, they're Irish like me 🙂 🍀and the Irish stick together and support each other always like family. In my eyes, they are the greatest rock band of all time and I believe that they're also the only band that can claim the honor of being the same four original members in the same band without breaking up for 44 years now and counting.

That's what I mean when I say that I'm a U2 super fan 🙂💖! I also love Alfred Hitchcock's films. Not so much his TV show. It's alright.

I've seen almost the whole series but his movies resonate more with me. Marnie, The Trouble With Harry, North By Northwest, Vertigo, Psycho, etc etc. I can just keep going. The TV show was okay.

It had some good episodes but it wasn't really scary to me. Even the movies aren't scary. I watch them for the tension and the superb acting. But they're not scary.

Compared to some other horror movies that I've seen, Alfred Hitchcock is way at the bottom for scares. He's a master of suspense, don't get me wrong. I respect him and love him for that. But he's definitely not horror in my book.

Take Psycho for example. Psycho was not originally his story. It was Robert Bloch's. Now you want to talk about a master of horror, read Robert Bloch.

His stories are scary, even to me. Alfred Hitchcock did a great adaptation of Psycho. It's almost exactly like the book except for Norman being a little bit different in the novel than the way he was portrayed on screen by Anthony Perkins. Still, it's a great adaptation.

There are definitely some scenes in it that I find creepy and a little scary and that's why it's considered a horror film and I know that. But it's the only horror film that Alfred Hitchcock ever did. Everything else was suspense, like Vertigo or Rear Window. Hitch loved mysteries more than any genre out there.

And he should've because he was British and a lot of British writers love crafting a great mystery story. Just look at Agatha Christie, P.D. James, Colin Dexter, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for example. And Alfred Hitchcock as well. There's nothing wrong with Hitch being a fan of mysteries. But people say he's a master of horror just because of Psycho and he's not really.

That was Robert Bloch's story and he's definitely a master of horror. Robert Bloch even wrote for three episodes of the original Star Trek series and each of those had major horror vibes in them. And those episodes set the tone for other horror episodes to follow in Star Trek over the years. Yes, I got way off track.

I got 10/15. I got #3, 4, 5, 13, and 14 wrong. I just guessed on this quiz because I don't know the tittles to the U2 music and the AHP show.
