10/10. It was a jealousy/bigoted thing that led to disco haters. Because it blocked other rock/pop songs from the radio in its popularity, the rockers (even though they may have liked some disco) began to lament its existence (some like the Kinks and the Stones did their own disco songs). And because disco was largely a black/female/gay performed and produced phenomenon (as well as the clubs where the form thrived), many bigoted people found something else to hate along with their bigotry of the people.

10/10...Didn't know the name of that Donna Summer song, but definitely remember hearing it. Not one of my favorites by her. Good guess. During that time, I was in middle school. We had a sock hop and that song began to play as I asked a friend of mine could I have the "last dance" with her. She obliged by teasing me saying, I'd "love to love you baby". I blushed. She was so cute and was one "bad girl". 😉
