6/10 I saw the movie Twister and Independence Day, but I didn't know all the rest. Maybe I'll try it better next time.
The Last Voyage with Woody Strode. Great movie. Sorta based on a true event that did not go as well. It is one of my favorite Strode films.
Woody was excellent in "The Professionals", an oddly overlooked Western gem with a all star
cast. If you liked "The Brady Bunch", er "The Wild Bunch", you'll love "The Professionals"
with Lee Marvin -
Bad Guy: "You bastard!"
Marvin: "Yes sir, by an accident of birth. But you sir, are a self made man."

Yes The Professionals is an excellent movie.
And THE WILD BUNCH is my all time favorite non John Wayne western.....Bill Holden. "If they move....kill'em". Bo Hopkins "Why don't you kiss my sister's black cats ass"

You should check out the story behind "La Golondrina" the Mexican song repeatedly played in
the movie.
Great movie makers add touches like that even if the average schnook - me, for years -
doesn't realize how it's lyrics both complement and haunt the story.
Based on a poem by the last king of Granada, a song of exile and longing for home.
Knowing the background of the song really enhances the experience the next time one views
the flick.

"You got 8 out of 10. You've got what it takes to survive the storm!"
Does anybody recall a movie with Robert Stack where either he or his wife is stuck in a damaged
cabin on an ocean liner as it's sinking? It was really exciting, and the producers used a real
ship, sinking it for the movie, you couldn't fake the resulting footage.
I can't recall the title, but it must be 40 years since I have seen it.

6/10. Ok I guess. I saw the Towering Inferno in the theatre back when (not impressed) and Independence Day (Will Smith shines) but none of the others. Never heard of some.
